Local information
Favorites, collections, personal notes, recitation completion records and preferences stay on your device. No account is required. The app does not upload these records to developer-operated servers. Recitation history stores the poem, completion time and duration, not audio recordings.
Microphone and speech recognition
When you start reciting and grant permission, the app uses the microphone and Apple Speech to recognize verses. It requires on-device recognition where supported; otherwise audio may be processed by Apple’s online service under Apple’s privacy rules. Recognized text is used locally to match poems and display progress. The app does not save microphone audio as a file or upload audio or recognized text to developer-operated servers. Capture stops when paused, when leaving recitation or when the app enters the background. You may revoke permissions in system Settings without losing ordinary reading access.
Content downloads
Collection catalogs, poetry packages and selected audio readings are downloaded over HTTPS from shijing-content.selfboot.cn. To deliver requests and maintain security, hosting providers may process network information such as IP addresses, requested resources and request times. Downloads do not include favorites, notes, recitation history or recordings. We do not use these requests for cross-app tracking or personalized ads.
Sharing, Photos and backups
You initiate card sharing and backup exports. Notes included on a card are sent to your chosen recipient. Saving a card requests add-only Photos permission, not access to read your photo library. Your chosen file location, iCloud, sharing service and recipient follow their own policies. System device backups are controlled by your Apple settings.
Analytics, advertising and purchases
The current app has no ads or in-app purchases and includes no third-party advertising, behavioral analytics or cross-app tracking SDK. We do not sell personal information. Apple may provide App Store statistics or crash diagnostics according to your system settings and Apple’s privacy policy.
Support and deletion
If you email support, we receive your email address and any information you choose to send, solely to respond, investigate and improve the reported issue. Avoid unrelated sensitive information. Contact us to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to required legal retention.
Delete individual records in the app or uninstall it to remove local app data. Exported files, Photos copies and material sent to others must be removed separately. Save a backup before uninstalling if needed. Apple speech processing and system backup retention are governed by Apple and your settings.
Audience and updates
Zhaoxi serves a general audience of poetry enthusiasts and is not designed specifically for children. We will update this policy and its effective date if relevant features or processing practices change.
