ScanLedger Privacy Policy

ScanLedger is provided by BE A MAN PTY LTD. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the ScanLedger iOS app.

1. Project data stays on your device

Projects, imported checklists, barcode and serial-number scans, manually entered records, custom templates, and attached photos are stored locally on your device. ScanLedger does not upload this content to our servers.

You control any export. Data leaves the app only when you choose to create a CSV or ZIP file and share it through the standard iOS share sheet.

The free tier does not require an account. Sign in with Apple is requested only when you choose to start the one-time 14-day Pro experience, buy ScanLedger Pro, or restore a purchase.

We use the stable Sign in with Apple account identifier to bind trial and purchase status. Depending on the choices you make in Apple’s sign-in flow, Apple may provide a relay email address. ScanLedger does not use this sign-in to upload your projects, scans, or photos.

3. Purchases and RevenueCat

Apple processes App Store purchases. ScanLedger uses RevenueCat to load product information, verify the Pro entitlement, and restore purchases across reinstalls or devices. RevenueCat may process a pseudonymous app user identifier, purchase and entitlement history, app version, device or operating-system information, and diagnostic information needed to provide the purchase service.

We do not receive your full payment-card details. Apple’s and RevenueCat’s own privacy terms also apply to their processing.

4. Camera and photos

Camera frames are processed on the device for barcode recognition and are not uploaded by ScanLedger. Photos you attach to a record remain on the device until you delete the project, remove the app, or explicitly export an evidence package.

5. Support communications

If you contact support, we receive the email address and information you choose to include, such as screenshots, device details, or a problem description. We use it only to answer and troubleshoot your request and retain it only as long as reasonably necessary.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use advertising SDKs. We share information only with service providers described above, when you direct us to do so, or when required by law.

7. Retention and deletion

Local project data remains on your device until you delete the relevant project or uninstall the app. Purchase records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat as required to provide, restore, and account for purchases. You can request deletion of support information by contacting us.

8. Children

ScanLedger is a general-purpose business productivity app and is not directed to children.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Contact us to make a request. You can also manage Sign in with Apple and App Store purchase information through your Apple Account settings.

10. Changes

We may update this policy when the app or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
